Mission Statement

The Artane School of Music provides education in music and musicianship,

leadership skills and character formation. Members develop their skills and talents

in a caring and disciplined environment which enable and facilitate their development to mature adulthood.

About Us

The Artane School of Music, formed in 1998, is one of Ireland's leading musical centres.  With a range of musical ensembles and top quality musical tuition on offer, the school offers its young members a musical journey of unique & amazing experiences during their formative years.

The jewel in the crown of the school is the world-famous Artane Band (once described by the legendary Bing Crosby as "the biggest little band in the world"). 

​

Founded in 1871, the band has performed for three British monarchs, three U.S. Presidents, every Irish Taoiseach & President, and many more.  

It has also collaborated with the likes of U2, Bon Jovi, INXS, Neil Diamond & Perry Como.

The Band performs regularly and extensively across Ireland and has toured abroad on several occasions, notably in the USA, the UK, Canada & Russia.
